This is an amazing opportunity to experience life in Japan.

Lissette from 2014

The most productive aspect of the program was living with a host family, because I was always practicing what I learn in class at home. And I believe that it has given me more confidence in speaking and not being worried about making mistakes.

Because I love Japan, it was a very rewarding experience for me.

Kyle from 2014

Aside from the 100% Japanese classes themselves, I really enjoyed the cultural experiences (such as the tea ceremony). I ventured out a lot on my own, met many people, and have grown a lot because of it.

It's a fantastic program.

Celine from 2014

This program is a wonderful and comparatively cheap investment in a person’s future as they learn a new language, and meet new friends from far away places!

I enjoyed my experience here very much! If possible, I’d like to come back to KCP in the future, to continue my studies! My goal is to work in Japan, and pass JLPT 2, so KCP has been helpful to me as I work towards my goal!

Don’t be discouraged. It is a bit fast moving, but there are chances to take tests over, and I advise you to choose your time to study well.

Sabrina from 2014

Make sure you’re responsible with your schoolwork, but also make time for new experiences and fun things that your home country doesn’t have. Practice speaking every chance you get; be friendly and open-minded and willing to try new things, and I think that you’ll have a really wonderful time, even if your time is short!

Testimonials

In general, I think the KCP program is really great and I’m very glad I decided to do it. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot, met many interesting people from all over the world, and got to have a very different experience of Japan than the normal tourist.
